mment: red stamp stores had a chain of stores headquarters in Gateshead I worked in a branch in Manchester St Morpeth Northumberland. In the fifties they sold groceries and kitchen ware. Once a year they closed all and had a staff outing to various seaside resorts. When I Worked there my surname was Clark. The Manager was a Mr. Cockburn.
