This picture appeared in 'The Monthly Supplement of the Penny Magazine of the Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge, February 28 to March 31, 1835, Collieries No 1, South Hetton Colliery'. This was very soon after the Colliery started production in about 1833.
