Date: 1950 - 1959

The lady is standing in the "Demey Field)", where the Federation Square Prefabs were later built. To the right of Harrogate Terrace the steelwork frame used during the construction of the Rex Cinema can be seen. Edison Street is also visible sloping left to right across the photograph. The Rex was built in 1939, so this dates the photograph approximately around this date.
