The clock was a memorial for war dead. (Cannot remember it ever working)The poppy day parade used to muster there. The bus in the background will be from the garage/coach business next door to the Legion. -Select coaches. The garage was a t one time ( late 1940s )a fire station.

For many years in the late '40s/early'50s my mother was treasurer of the Women's Section. I cannot identify any of the people in the picture. However, the bus in the background was probably one belonging the the garage next door which I think operated under the name 'Select Coaches'.
